Throughout RADar you will find the ability to
send letters and to produce labels.
Labels can be printed for families or students in
the list that you currently have open. You may select all the people in
the list, one or more blocks from the list, or individual entries selected by
yourself. Labels are by default addressed to the family, but where the
data is available may be addressed to the student.
Special Labels are available in certain places
and may additionally contain a field of information defined by yourself.
Letters can be produced using RADar's powerful
built-in word processor very similar to Word but fully integrated with the
database. Letters you create with this can incorporate any of the data fields
from the current listing with ease. You can even include a scan of your signature
so that you don't need to sign every letter!
Letters can be imported from, and exported to,
any word processor that supports rtf, (e.g. Word and WordPerfect) so if
you already have a set of forms these can be integrated into RADar. Letters are
stored internally and can be recalled at a moments notice.
Separate letter headings can be entered for each
school together with your logo. So you no longer need to use headed
paper. Simply scan in your existing header, or better still re-create it
using the powerful built in editing facilities. When printing letters, if
your selection of addressees includes people for different schools, RADar will
automatically head the letter with the correct letter head! Try doing that with
your word processor or any other system!
Like labels, letters can be printed for families
or students in the list that you currently have open. You may select all
the people in the list, one or more blocks from the list, or individual entries
selected by yourself.
